Hey, are you curious what the video production process looks like? If you’ve never created a video for your business before or you want to learn about how we work, we’re here to show you! Below you will see our process to how we create a video from idea (concept) to final product.

strategy.

Our strategy is simple: a video must solve a problem. You don’t need a video if it serves no purpose (unless you’re swimming in cash and wanna give us some money). There are many reasons for a video, and we will find out together, if you don’t already know, what your reason is.

A video is a powerful tool used to solve real problems. Whether your objective is to make your business known, influence a brand image, or simply: get more sales! We will craft a video, specific to your company needs, and then get the results that you need.

Your video must entertain. There are so many videos out on the market, and some are really bad; so you need to make a video that grabs your audience’s attention and doesn’t just get skipped like all the others. There’s a saying, “To sell, you must first be sold.” So we will only market companies we believe in and do everything we can to let the world know how great they really are.

script.

Next we need a script that people will love. It starts with a concept and then tested whether people will relate and react to it. What’s the point of writing a script if people won’t care in the first place? 

Scripting takes multiple stages: concept, template, audio & visual script (the characters and the actions they take and things they say), and final script. Between each step is rinsing and repeating until the final script is perfect. The script must entertain, solve a purpose and be on brand for the company. During the process we will choose the video style, ways of telling your story and the budget it takes to make your video happen.

pre-production.

Whatever we need to do to make the script into a video. That’s as simple as it gets.

We need to find the best locations, the actors/talent to represent your brand, come up with artistic direction for every scene, and a bunch of other logistics you haven’t even considered (like providing food and snacks for the actors). Your voice will be heard throughout this process and you will have control over any element, but we just take over all the boring stuff to get ready for film day!

film day.

This is the best part of the process! All the hard work we’ve done together up to this point finally starts to pay off. This is also the most stressful part of the day, as there are a billion moving parts such as directing talent, setting up gear, monitoring and recording audio, lighting the scene, relighting the scene, choosing the best camera angles, changing the lights again, etc. You’re welcome on set throughout the process if you want to make sure everything that’s happening is on brand for your company.

post-production.

Out of one shoot, we can decide how many videos (edits) are needed to best deliver the results.
